As the video goes on, we’ll be able to make out the images and actions better in the 1947 clips, which will coincidentally be mirroring the actions of the characters in 2017. In the beginning, when we do introduce the 1947 flashbacks, they’re going to be a blur, as it’s not apparent to the characters why everything seems so familiar about the situation that they’re in. So, what’s basically going to happen is that we’re going to introduce these characters in 2017, so that it would be an easier transition to flashback to 1947. And for Justin Bieber and his girl, we’ll make them the people who are working there: Justin Bieber the photographer, and his girl a waitress. So how about the girl wears a Dior gown (which by the way, the first Dior gowns came out in 1947, which is why I thought it would be nice to take it back to 1947 in this music video #IKnowIAmExtra). Now, remember how I told you to keep Dior in mind? Post Malone says the word “Dior” like twice, but that’s significant enough for us to add something to do with Dior in the music video. Post Malone and his girl will be the guests at this party, all decked out in classy ballroom attire. The characters are going to be at a 40’s themed ballroom dance, where each has a specific role. As I mentioned earlier, we’re going to be transitioning back and forth between the years of 19. Okay, so I’m itching to know, what exactly is going to happen in this music video? Justin Bieber and his girl are going to be working at this party, Justin as a photographer and his girl as a waitress. Post Malone and his girl will be the guests at this grand party. (It would be nice if I were one of the girls, but let’s be realistic here). Well, I was thinking it would be best if Post Malone and Justin Bieber were actually in the music video, along with each of their own ladyloves. Yes, my dear readers, we are going to be switching back and forth between these two years to give it that “whoa” factor. Why? Because it’s going to be taking place in both 19. Now, we’re going to be at a party, mainly a 40’s ballroom themed party in a grand castle. We’re in a Victorian style castle, let’s just make it The Searles Castle (Great Barrington, Massachusetts) – a romantic, 1880s castle (Fun Fact: also the 30 th largest house in America). I highly suggest that you listen to the song before reading my description so you get a clearer idea of my perspective on this music video. So how about I pitch my music video idea to you, and you can tell me whether it’s a good idea or not? Of course not! (I swear I should become, like, a Music Video Director or something). I have tried looking for DAAYYZZZ for a music video to pop up for Post Malone and Justin Bieber’s ‘Deja Vu’, with a disappointing result… no music video… 😦 But does that mean I haven’t already imagined the music video in my head every single time I listen to the song?
